Some Template Changes
Any viewers of the blog (just me then) will know I used to have a grey and pink colour scheme. Well I've changed it to blue and grey. Unfortunately it reset my custom template but I've just reworked it and improved it with the addition of the 'Extra' tab on the sidebar. Hopefully I can put something interesting there soon. Stay tuned!
My Birthday
Yes, yesterday was my birthday! I also had a graphics coursework deadline, which I think I did pretty well at. In the evening me and Cat went out to this amazing chinese restaurant in Lyndhurst, it was great! Then we came home and ate some of the cake my sister had made for me :)I got so many great things for my birthday too!Cat got me: A cute Blackbird plushie with sound affects, a £20 amazon voucher and Last Exile vol. 3 :DHer family got me: A set of very fine drawing pens, drawing pencils and a drawing padKelly got me: A mini fridge for my room (can also keep things warm) and a bottle of lucozadeSarah and Richard got me: (the best of) Trigger Happy series 1, a set of pens and a pencil case that are made from recycled computer printers and a car tyre! And a set of books to help me pass my driving test as well as magnetic L-plates.Mum and dad got me: An electric shaver, my provisional drivers license and the offer of possibly going on their car's insurance when I decide to start learning to drive.My nan and grandad got me: £50! Goddamn acrylic paint!
Okay so it's been a while since my last post which means I'd better update. Well for a start I managed to pull off the layout theft I mentioned before. This page's top panel will be customised and should appear on every page of my Graphics Unit 3!
What else? Well I went to Oxford at the weekend (Sister's birthday, we built her a shed). I scored two free trials of Napster (allows 5 songs each) in a PC-World on the way home. I've given one to Cat.
So in more recent news: Birthday Bowlarama tonight!!! Yeah it should rock. Right now i'm in graphics (free period) and I was hoping to get some extra work done since my deadline is Friday. Well here's the deal - I need acrylic paint before I can further my design. Problem: Graphics room has no black acrylic paint. I went to the Art Dept. to ask George if I could borrow some and he told me to buy some when the Art Shop opens!! I'm not an art student! Why would I want to BUY an entire tube of black paint just for myself!?
Okay, so I guess I'll live, but its annoying all the same and means I'll have to work extra hard tomorrow. I've begun reading the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It's brilliantly funny. I'm aiming to finish it before next friday so Cat, Loz, Ant and I can go see the film. The trailers look great.

A Friday Morning
In update to my last post, my efforts to create a cool looking background kind of failed. But, I'm not giving up. I'm going to try a different approach when I next get time, which should really be soon as my project only has a few weeks until the deadline!
In more recent news, it's friday, which means it's almost the weekend! Except it's still morning and I have a full day of lessons on fridays. Plus I have a hair cut appointment this afternoon. I hope they do a good job unlike the last time it was cut! I think I'll just have to be more clear on what I say I want. Also I gotta spend most of my weekend in Oxford, away from Cat who with be staying even further north as her family are visiting friends :(
Layout Theft
Lol. So I'm in college right now and thinking "How can I make a good layout for my graphics workbook?" and it hits me - steal my blog layout! Haha! So my plan is to use the panel at the top of this page and edit it with custom titles for each page of my workbook. Here goes.
